Numerical Value: 9
Astrological Associations: Aquarius, Leo, Sagittarius, Jupiter, Sun

Full Meaning

The Nine of Wands is a card all about moving yourself into a good, unassailable position. Think of this card like moving up the rungs of a huge ladder, you are nearing the top, but you are becoming increasingly weary as you move toward your goal i.e. the top of the ladder. The message that this card brings is that the energy and drive and determination are all there, but you must carry on. This card is also symbolic of completion, if you have a number of incomplete projects then now may be the time to complete them. Turn any delays to your advantage and keep pushing yourself forward.

In terms of a relationship, if you have been hurt in the past this could be hampering your ability to commit to your present one. Generally this is a positive card and as long as you continue pushing forward with drive and determination things should come to fruition.

Traditional Symbolism

The figure leans upon his staff and has an expectant look, as if awaiting an enemy. Behind are eight other staves--erect, in orderly disposition, like a palisade.
